Unlike many Mobile Disco services we have a large selection of equipment (well over 500 items) from which to select what's right for your event.
For any event you will get;
- Thousands of tracks covering the Twenties right up to date.
- Requests taken for Music / Karaoke tracks during the event.
- Professional quality sound equipment, not Prosound/Gemini/Auna etc.
- Appropriate Light Shows & Lasers.
- Public, Product & Employer's Liability Insurance to £10m with independent on line validation.
- Fully serviced and PAT tested equipment with independent on line verification.
- A written contract confirming your booking.
- Access to our on line play-list tool. You and your friends can check what tracks we have and choose special tracks in advance.
- Our phone numbers so you can talk to us and get advice and assistance.
Our solutions are scalable from small private parties to large functions.
What we charge and what you will get depends on many factors including but by no means limited to;
- What you Want! We are not a one trick pony with a single basic set-up to which we can add a couple of extra speakers to try and cope with a larger venue. We have a huge range of equipment from which to select what's right for you.
- The Venue (Size & shape, access, set up area, quiet areas, sound limiters, power provisions, zoning, etc.)
- People. How many and what sort? (Not only do you need to hear the music over the general hubbub but Farmers like different music to French Students, and Soldiers don't want the same stuff as New Zealand rugby players)
- Main music preferences (Heavy Metal, Dubstep and Club Music will need very different equipment from Motown, 60s or General Pop to sound its best)
- Age range (different ages typically have different music tastes although there are lots of songs that bridge the ranges. The demographic will often change through the event so we may be catering for a very young contingent at the start, more across the board a bit later and as the night progresses and the age extremes tend to go home it will leave a hard core who will probably demand more 'club type' music)
- What sort of function it is (The music and lighting for an Engagement or Wedding will be quite different to that for a Halloween or Stag Night)
- How long it is for (Not just the performance time but when do we have to get set-up and when can we get out. Sometimes with wedding venues we may have to set up very early or even the previous day and not be able to get our equipment out until the next day.)
- What sort of DJ.
- How about extra Lighting (Up lighting, Mood Lighting etc. as well as main effects lighting for the dance floor?)
- Would you like Video (Video DJing, Live Presentations & Feeds, Video and Photo display etc.)
- Karaoke
- Do you need a Dance Floor (If your venue - such as a marquee - doesn't already have a suitable one)
- Do you want Live Entertainment (A wedding singer through to bands etc.)
Nothing is set in stone until you book so if you have things you'd particularly like just ask and if possible we will include them.
Please note that prices and specifications can be affected by access limitations, venue restrictions/requirements and safety considerations. You will get an accurate quotation before committing to any booking. Times shown are playing times. We need access to the venue for at least one hour either side to set-up and take down our equipment.

Some things to consider when choosing your Disco
- Your audience should want more!
We want everyone to think this is best Disco they've ever been to. Everyone should be wanting it not to end and they should leave hoping to come back another time.
It's not enough to have the best equipment and technical expertise. You will feel you're part of the show and be entertained. Your host for your event will have had extensive experience on the circuit as an entertainer and this often makes the difference between an OK 'do' and a great one.
- Great Light shows help make a great party.
A few flashing lights do not make a party. In the olden days light boxes with coloured bulbs may have been all that was available but that's not been the case for decades now. We pride ourselves in not even owning a light box. All our lighting effects are geared towards making a club like atmosphere for your party.
- Even a good track will sound bad on poor equipment!
No matter how good a number is, without the right quality equipment it won't sound its best. At Megasong we pride ourselves on using top quality equipment, not something bought at a budget price from a so called 'Professional' range.
- Loud does not make it good!
People often like to be able to have a conversation whilst at a disco. As the night goes on there may be occasion to raise the volume and loud music is part of the Disco experience, but we like to preserve your hearing and give you the chance to talk at least in the early stages.
- I know what I want to hear!
We accept requests both on the night and in advance using our online play-list tool. We'll do our best to play requests, but it's our aim to give everyone the best disco experience so you may have to wait until the 'mood' of the floor is right for your track.
- Don't kill the mood
We'll do our best to get everyone we can up on the dance floor by playing the right kind of music. If you have any particular genre you want your event themed round we can accommodate this too.
Once we've got people up we'll try to stick to the tracks they respond to, although we will slow things down from time to time to avoid burn out.
- We think we'll be right for you but if you're not sure we suggest you try the Disco Directory or a Mobile DJ from iwantaDJ to find someone to help you. You may also find other local suppliers of interest at the Small Business Directory
